The Illinois Destinations Association plays a vital role in strengthening the state’s tourism industry by offering professional development, fostering collaboration among tourism leaders, and advocating for key travel-related legislation. Through its Advocacy and Legislative Affairs Committee, IDA champions issues that impact tourism and business travel across Illinois.
Navarro brings nearly two decades of experience leading tourism initiatives for Heritage Corridor Destinations, covering communities along the historic Illinois & Michigan Canal. Under his leadership, the organization has become a recognized voice in regional tourism, and Navarro himself is a highly respected speaker and thought leader in the industry.
His continued involvement with IDA will ensure strong representation for the southwest suburbs and contribute to the advancement of tourism throughout Illinois.
